Investing in the Young Generation is Ho Chi Minh City’s Future
On April 2, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a meaningful meeting with representative HCYU (Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union), VNUS (Vietnam National Union of Students), and HYPO (Ho Chi Minh City Youth Pioneers Organization) cadres. The event marked the 95th Anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2026).
Commitment from HCMC Party Committee Leaders
During the program, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Mr. Tran Luu Quang, shared his deep emotional connection with the city’s youth cadres. Emphasizing the significance of the younger generation, he stated, “Worrying about you is worrying about the future of the city.” City leaders affirmed that they are committed to creating specific mechanisms and favorable conditions for all youth organizations to thrive and evolve.

Empowering the Role of Youth in City Development
Secretary Tran Luu Quang challenged the youth to demonstrate the value of this support: “You must prove that under the attention and investment of the Ho Chi Minh City leaders, you are more mature, do more work, and contribute more to the development of Ho Chi Minh City.”
Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, Mr. Ngo Minh Hai, noted that this program is a vital platform for young people to voice their aspirations, ideas, and proposals. This dialogue serves as a foundation to orient and empower youth to promote their roles in building the city in this new stage.
